Petitioner claims to be purchaser of the land 1-Hec., 61-R out of Gut No.254 situated at Mauje Dahegaon, Tal. Gangapur, District Aurangabad (hereinafter referred to as the ' suit property') vide registered sale-deed dated 3rd September, 2010. According to petitioner, pursuant to the aforesaid sale-deed, he has applied to the revenue authorities for the purpose of mutation of the aforesaid property in his name pursuant to provisions of Section 149, 150 and 154 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. He would urge that failure of respondent to carry out mutation and issue 7/12 extract in his name, has prompted him to move the respondent seeking mutation way back on 1st October, 2013 and subsequent thereto on 15th June, 2021.

In this background, he would urge that directions need to be issued to respondent - Tahsildar to effect mutation in favour of petitioner based on the aforesaid sale-deed.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondent nos.1 to 6 submits that in the facts and circumstances of the case the Court may pass an appropriate order. 4.

Having regard to the claim put forth in the petition, we direct petitioner to produce the copy of the present petition along with all the annexures before respondent no.5 within four weeks from today.

Respondent no.5 is directed to decide the claim of petitioner seeking mutation of the aforesaid suit property in his name based on the registered sale-deed which prayer be decided expeditiously and in any case, within a period of eight weeks from the date of attendance of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of.
