The learned counsel states that, the Petitioner had made representation for allotment of alternate land in lieu of the land already acquired for rehabilitation. The said land was owned by the joint family and now in the name of the uncle of the Petitioner. Though the application is made on 25.02.2015 the same is not decided by the Respondent Authority.

The learned A. G. P. states that, the claim of the Petitioner is stale. After a long slumber the Petitioner has moved the court.

As the application is pending, we pass the following order -

ORDER

The Respondent No. 2 - Authority shall decide the application (Exh. C) filed by the Petitioner on its own merits, in accordance with law, Rules and policy so also shall consider the entitlement of the Petitioner and all other relevant aspects of the matter and decide the said application expeditiously and preferably within nine (9) months.
