This petition is presented seeking pension admissible to the underground freedom fighter who has participated in the movement of liberation of Hyderabad state. It is not a matter of dispute that the District Gaurav Samiti has not recommended case of the petitioner. Apart from this, petitioner failed to comply with the requirements laid down under Government Resolution dated 4th July, 1995. In view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the matter of State of Maharashtra and others Vs. Namdeo and others reported in (2013) 14 SCC 225, case of the petitioner does not deserve favourable consideration. Writ petition stands rejected. ( P. R. BORA ) ( R. M. BORDE ) JUDGE JUDGE dyb
