It is submitted that, application is made under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, pursuant to which References being already filed by the claimants of the same award. The learned counsel for the petitioners states that, the appeals filed by the State against the said References were dismissed by this Court.

When the appeals filed against the said References were already dismissed by this Court there would be no impediment for the Authority to decide the application under Section 28-A, filed by the present petitioners. The respondent shall decide the application filed by the petitioners under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within six (6) months. 5.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
