Mr.Chalak, learned counsel submits that validation proceedings in respect of caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee. In absence of validity, the Respondents are not accepting the examination form.

Mr.Sant, learned counsel for Respondent No.5 University submits that the petitioner is admitted from reserved category, as such has to submit the validity certificate. The same stand is adopted by learned A.G.P.

It is not disputed that validation proceedings in respect of

caste claim of the petitioner is pending with the Committee. It is for the Committee to decide the said proceedings expeditiously. The petitioner has to co-operate in expeditious disposal of the said proceedings.

Considering the above, we pass the following order : a) The Respondent Committee shall decide the validation proceedings in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within one year. The petitioner shall cooperate expeditious disposal of the said proceedings. b) Till the validation proceedings are pending, the RespondentCollege/University shall not refrain the petitioner from prosecuting further studies and shall not refuse to accept the examination form, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible only on the ground that validation proceedings are pending.

c) The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs. d) Authenticated copy be given.
