The caste validation proceeding of the petitioner is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the result of the petitioner'

s of VII th and VIII th semester of Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Communication) examination held in October 2019, is withheld.

The petitioner shall appear before the scrutiny committee on 08.04.2021. The committee shall endeavour to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously, preferably within four months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall co-operate in disposal of the proceeding. 4.

In case, there is no other impediment, the respondent Nos.2 and 3 shall not withhold the result of the petitioner's examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. The mark-sheet also shall not be retained only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending. The degree certificate may not be issued to the petitioner until the petitioner produces the validity certificate.

The respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are entitled to take further course of action depending upon the judgment that would be delivered by the Committee in the validation proceeding. 6.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
