IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY
BENCH AT AURANGABAD WRIT PETITION NO.2958 OF 2012 KAVITA DASHRATH GIRI
VERSUS
THE RETURNING OFFICER, LATUR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION ...
None for the Petitioner.
Advocate for the Respondent : Shri S.S.Wagh h/f Shri S.T.Shelke ...
CORAM: RAVINDRA V. GHUGE, J.
DATE :- 28th February, 2020 Per Court:
None for the petitioner.
With the assistance of the learned advocate for the sole respondent, I have perused the petition paper book. This Court has passed a detailed order dated 03.04.2012 concluding that the nomination form of the petitioner was replete with defects. Those defects were not curable during the scrutiny of nomination form. The petition was filed on the last day of withdrawal of nomination form and by the time this Court considered the petition on 03.04.2012, all stages in the election, except voting, were over. Interim relief was, therefore, refused. The next election was held in 2017 and the learned advocate for the respondent submits that this Writ Petition is rendered
*2* 968wp2958o12 infructuous.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off as being infructuous. Rule is discharged.
