Heard learned advocate for the petitioner for some time. 2.

The learned Member, Industrial Court, Ahmednagar has dismissed the complaint filed by the petitioner who happens to be peon, an employee with the respondent Nos. 1 and 2. The learned Industrial Court held that the Industrial Court has no jurisdiction and dismissed the complaint by granting liberty to the complainant/present petitioner to approach before the appropriate forum under the Industrial Disputes Act.

The learned advocate for the petitioner fairly accepts that the Industrial Court has no jurisdiction and to that extent no fault can be

2 922-wp 5171-2025.odt found with the impugned order. However, he submits that, liberty is granted to approach the appropriate forum under the Industrial Disputes Act. He submits that, in fact, the jurisdiction would be with the Grievance Committee/College Tribunal established under the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.

Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of by keeping liberty open to the petitioner to approach any appropriate forum under the law as advised.
