We have heard Mr Jadhav, learned Advocate for the petitioner. 2.

The learned A.G.P., on instructions submits that on 17.3.2021, order is passed against the petitioner directing him to pay the penalty of Rs.38,31,500/-.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the petitioner has a remedy of appeal.

In view of that, Writ Petition is disposed of. The petitioner may prefer an appeal against the order of penalty and for release of vehicle under the provisions of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code.

In case the petitioner files an appeal, the appellate authority shall decide the same expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of filing of appeal. No costs.
