Writ Petition No.4339 of 2005, filed by the petitioner challenging the invalidation of the tribe claim of the petitioner is admitted. In the said Writ Petition, Court has granted interim protection to the petitioner protecting his services.

In the present Writ Petition, the petitioner is assailing the action of the respondents in placing the petitioner on a supernumerary post. 3.

It would be appropriate for the petitioner to take steps in the pending Writ Petition against the impugned action, more particularly, in view of the fact that the protection with regard to the services of the petitioner is granted in the pending Writ Petition.

With the aforesaid observations, Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.

All contentions are kept open.
