The applications are objected by the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, on the ground that the amendment, if permitted, changes the nature of the claim.

Having considered the objection, it is noticed that the petitions are yet to be admitted. In view thereof, it will be appropriate, in the interest of justice, to allow the amendment as the respondents will get appropriate opportunity to file their reply before the matter is taken up for admission. 3.

Thus, Civil Applications stand allowed in terms of prayer clause (A). Appropriate amendment be carried out within two weeks from today. Respondents shall file their affidavit-in-reply, if any, within a period of six weeks thereafter.
