This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail since the applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No. 37/2015 registered with Bhingar Camp police station, Ahmednagar, District Ahmednagar for the offences punishable u/s 376 (1),363,365,506 of the Indian Penal Code and u/s 3 (a), 4,1(v) and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Learned A.P.P. fairly invited my attention to the affidavit filed by Mahendra s/o Damodar Ahire, who is

2 Cr.Apln. 1595.2015 Assistant Police Inspector at Bhingar Camp police station, Ahmednagar, who states that on the date of incident, present applicant was minor and, therefore, according to the Investigating Officer, necessary steps will be taken in respect of the present applicant before the Juvenile Justice Court. In view of the affidavit filed by the Investigating Officer, interim order granted in favour of the present applicant on 27/03/2015 stands confirmed.
