Rule. Rule returnable forthwith. With consent of the parties, heard finally.

The grievance of the petitioners is that the petitioners have completed their Ph. D. degree prior to 1.1.1996 and are entitled for two additional increments of Rs.420/-. According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the said issue is no longer res-integra in view of the judgments delivered by this Court in number of matters. 3.
Mr. Navandar, the learned counsel for the respondent states that the petitioners have completed their Ph. D. prior to 1.1.1996 and would be governed by the judgments delivered by this Court. 4.
In the light of that, we pass the following order:-
O R D E R
I.
The petitioners who have completed their Ph. D. Degree prior to 1.1.1996 shall be given benefit of two increments of Rs.420/-. The respondents shall make the payment of the said benefit of two increments of
-3Rs.420/- w.e.f. 1.1.1996 to the petitioners with all consequential benefits, expeditiously.
II.
Rule is accordingly made absolute in the above terms. No costs.
