The Petitioners are siblings, whose claim of belonging to "Thakur-44", Scheduled Tribe category, which is submitted on 30.12.2022, is pending.

There are a few validity holders from the paternal side, though their father does not have a validity certificate. 3.

The learned AGP submits that this Court may not pass any orders in this matter as the claim of the Petitioner is filed on 30.12.2022. There are thousands of matters pending with the Committee and in many of such matters, the High Court has directed time frames. In the alternative, he prays for at least six

We do find that the submissions of the learned AGP are well placed. But, at the same time, the Petitioners contend that they would need a decision on their claim prior to August, 2023, as the admissions to the professional courses, pursuant to the NEET UG-2023 examination, would commence by August, 2023.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.
