Present Petition can be disposed of in view of the prayer. The petitioners seek directions against respondent No.2 Committee to decide the tribe claims of the petitioners which were presented on 23rd November 2023.

Learned AGP waives notice for both the respondents and submits that the said claims can be decided within a period of six months.

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1 is preparing for the entrance examination for NEET-2024 and therefore, there is urgency.

Taking into consideration the urgency of the petitioners as well as pendency before respondent No.2 Committee, we direct respondent No.2 Committee to decide the tribe claims of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of SIX MONTHS from today.

With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
