The learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions, submits that, at the relevant time when the land of the petitioner's father was acquired, the petitioner's father has suggested the name of son-in-law for appointment under the Project Affected category. Accordingly, son-in-law i.e. brother-in-law of the petitioner is working on the said post.

It is contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that, the appointment of said son-in-law is not in accordance with law and as per Government Resolution.

However, since the father of the petitioner stated to have consented for the appointment of son-in-law, we refuse to exercise the extra ordinary jurisdiction. Hence the Petition is rejected. ( A.M. BADAR, J. ) ( S.S. SHINDE, J. ) ...
