In view of limited grievance raised in the petition, by consent, the petition is taken up for disposal at admission stage. 3.

Our attention is invited to the documents placed on record to submit that the petitioner was transferred from an unaided division to the aided division by following due procedure viz., passing resolution; issuance of appropriate orders; and then submitting proposal to the competent authority i.e. Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Latur. Copy of the proposal dated 05.01.2018 submitted to the Education Officer is placed on record at Exh. G. Said proposal is received by the Education Officer on 06.01.2018. As there is no decision on the proposal for considerable period, the petitioner is before this Court.

In view of above referred facts, respondent no. 2 - Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Latur, is directed to decide the proposal dated 05.01.2018, needless to state on merit, as expeditiously as possible and not later than ten weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court.
