Petitioner is seeking correction of school record to the extent of caste recorded in the primary as well as secondary school. Proposal seems to have been forwarded by the Head Master to the respondent No. 4/Education Officer (Primary). 3.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No. 4/Education Officer to decide the proposal of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three

(03) weeks from today on its own merits. It shall not be rejected

2 wp 4289.24 on the ground that the petitioner has left the school in the light of decision of the Full Bench in the matter of Janabai D/o Himmatrao Thakur Vs. The State of Maharashtra and another reported in 2019(6) Mh.L.J. 769.
