Heard both sides. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that instead of depositing the amount of maintenance as per the interim order passed by this court month-wise, the applicant may be permitted to deposit the amount of maintenance twice in a year.

The applicant is permitted to deposit the amount in the month of January for the period of six months and in the month of June, for the remaining period of six months.

If the amount so deposited, the original appellants are permitted to withdraw the same through their counsel and office to issue account payee cheque drawn in the name of the appellants and the same be handed over to the counsel representing the original appellants.
