Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that one Karbhari Dadarao Shelke has committed suicide in the Maratha reservation agitation. Legal heirs were assured financial assistance of Rs.10 lac. The proposal has been given to the Government by the legal heirs, but no decision has been taken on it as yet.

In case the proposal seeking compensation as contended by the petitioners in prayer clause (C) is pending with respondent No.2 and if respondent No.2 is competent to take decision upon it, then respondent No.2 shall take decision upon it on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six months.

Writ petition disposed of. No costs.
