Heard the learned Advocate for the Applicant and the learned APP for the State. Perused the papers on record. 2.
Crime No. 0280 of 2024 came to be registered with Beed City Police Station, District Beed, for offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1999.

It is the case of the Prosecution that the investors and the depositors of Rajasthani Multistate Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., Parli Vaijnath, District Beed, were cheated by the office bearers and the staff by promising handsome returns. Since the promised amount was not paid, the investors / depositors contacted the various branches of
2 930ABA469.2025.odt the said Society, however, the same was in vain. According to the Informant, the amount for which the investors were cheated runs into Rs. 91,43,488/-. The said Crime is registered against the Applicant and the Chairman of the said Society.

There is no dispute that the Applicant was working as a Branch Manager at Beed. There is nothing to show that the Applicant had any role to play in decision-making of the financial transactions of the said Society. According to the learned APP, the Applicant had lured the investors to invest in the said Society. The leaned Advocate for the Applicant invited my attention to the orders dated 03.02.2025 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No. 9 of 2025, 02.04.2025 passed in Anticipatory Bail Applications No. 1352 of 2024 and 1606 off 2024, 02.04.2025 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No. 58 of 2025 and 05.08.2025 passed in Anticipatory Bail Application No. 1327 of 2025, in support of his contention that the Branch Managers of the various Branches of the said Society are protected by this Court by considering they had no specific role in the decision-making process. These orders are not disputed by the learned APP. Learned APP submits that, except for the above contention, there is nothing against the Applicant. 5.
The Applicant was protected by this Court vide order dated 03.04.2025 on certain conditions. According to the learned APP, the
3 930ABA469.2025.odt Applicant has attended the concerned Police Station and has cooperated. Considering the above aspects, I am inclined to confirm the said interim order. Hence, the following order.
ORDER
[i] The interim order passed by this Court on 03.04.2025 in the present Application is confirmed.
[ii] Application stands disposed off.
