The petitioner has put forth prayer clause B as under:- "B) By issuing a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order and/or direction in the like manner, respondent no.01 may kindly be directed to allow the petitioner to resume his vacation and street vending activity of sale of food items, more particularly, sale of sugarcane juice until the survey as provided for under Section 3(3) is not carried out by the Town Vending Committee established for the Cantonment Board, Aurangabad."

As the hearing in this matter progressed, the learned advocate for the petitioner submitted that the application dated

*2* 19wp6112o22 20.01.2022 for renewal of permission beyond 2022 is still pending with respondent No.1.

The learned advocate representing respondent No.1 submits that the application could be decided within one month. 4.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off.

We would expect respondent No.1 to take a decision on the application dated 20.01.2022 filed by the petitioner, if not already decided, strictly in accordance with the policies and rules of the Cantonment Board. Let such decision be arrived at on or before 15.11.2022.
