It is informed that the proposal in respect of bifurcation of villages is pending with the State Government. It would be open for the State Government to take appropriate decision in accordance with the provisions of law on the proposal forwarded by the Divisional Commissioner. It is further informed that the process of election to the Village Panchayat has commenced and today onwards is the period prescribed for acceptance of nomination.
