The tribe certificate issued to the petitioner of Koli Mahadev - Scheduled Tribe has been cancelled on the ground that spelling of Mahadev is wrongly spelled in the tribe certificate. 2.

The petitioner may obtain the attested copy of the tribe certificate from the Scrutiny Committee. Upon receipt of the attested copy of the tribe certificate from the Committee, the same shall be submitted to the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer. The concerned

Writ Petition No.12961/2018 Sub-Divisional Officer shall, after verifying the attested copy of the tribe certificate, shall issue the tribe certificate with a correct spelling of "Koli Mahadev", preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of application of the petitioner and the receipt of the attested copy of the earlier certificate issued. The petitioner shall submit the corrected tribe certificate to the Scrutiny Committee within a period of two weeks thereafter. The Committee shall thereafter decide the proceedings on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously. Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
