Heard. This Court, vide order dated 25/3/2025, had directed to sell the land Gut No.171, admeasuring 17.77 Hectors, in public auction. The sale was ordered to recover the amount due and payable to the petitioners therein towards arrears of their salary. Pursuant to the order dated 25/3/2025, the Tahsildar conducted the auction sale and has accepted the bid for Rs.2,83,00,000/- (Rupees Two Crores Eighty Three Lakhs). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the

land has fetched market value. The Tahsildar has moved the Application for confirmation of the auction sale. 2.

It is informed that, the auction purchaser/ bidder has even deposited an amount of Rs.70 Lakhs with the Tahsildar. We hope that the Tahsildar must have deposited the said amount in fixed deposit. If not done so, he shall do the same immediately. Since the land has fetched the market value thereof, we hereby confirm the auction sale. The Tahsildar shall receive the balance consideration amount within a period of four weeks and then execute the conveyance in favour of the purchaser at his cost and then hand over the possession of the land to the purchaser. The sale price shall be deposited with this Court forthwith. Civil Application stands disposed of.
