Having heard Mr. Hon, learned Senior Counsel for petitioner and Mr. Kale, learned Government Pleader for respondent nos.1 to 6, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with the following direction:

(i) Considering the nature of relief claimed which is in public interest, respondent no.3 - Collector is directed to treat the petition as representation of petitioner and decide the same in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the order along a copy of the petition.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
