Petitioner claims to be belonging to Mannervarlu Scheduled Tribe and has been admitted to BAMS degree course in the academic year 20152016 as against the seat reserved for Scheduled Tribe category. Petitioner has completed first year course and has also appeared for the examination conducted in Summer 2016. As a result of failure of petitioner to submit validation certificate, respondent no. 3 University has not yet declared her result.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition can be disposed of with direction to respondent no. 4 Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the tribe certificate verification proposal pending with the Committee, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from today and, it is accordingly directed. Respondent no. 3
wp3518.16.doc University shall declare result of first year BAMS examination of petitioner forthwith and shall permit her to appear for the next examination. Respondent no. 2 College shall permit petitioner to pursue further studies subject to decision of the Scrutiny Committee in respect of tribe certificate verification proposal of petitioner. Petitioner undertakes to co-operate the Scrutiny Committee in final disposal of the verification claim. With the directions as above, writ petition stands disposed of. ( K. K. SONAWANE ) ( R. M.
