Heard learned counsel for the applicant, the learned APP for the respondent-State and Mr. D.R. Markad, learned advocate assisting APP. 2.

The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.8/2024 dated 5.1.2024 registered at Parner Police Station, District Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under sections 306 of I.P.C. 3.

Perused the F.I.R. and police papers. It is alleged that the victim has committed suicide as the applicant was threatening her to make her photographs viral on social media. On perusal of the police papers, it appears that before committing suicide by the victim, the applicant had made various phone calls to the victim. Thereafter, the victim had blocked the number of the applicant. As such, prima facie, there is substance in the allegations made against the applicant and at this stage, it cannot be said that the allegations made in the F.I.R. are unfounded. 4.

In view of the above, the application is rejected. 5.

It is clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court

ABA 496/24 shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

The learned counsel for the applicant prayed for continuation of interim relief for the period of two weeks. The said request is also rejected. ( ARUN R. PEDNEKER, J. ) ssc/
