(2) WP No.3468/2014 (J) ORAL JUDGMENT :- .

The petition is filed for giving direction to the Caste Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the caste claim made by the petitioner. It is the contention of the petitioner that the caste claim came to be referred in the year 2009 and a direction was also given by this Court by order dated 10.09.2009 to see that the decision is taken on the caste claim, within one year. The submissions made show that till today no decision is taken. In view of these circumstances, this Court is again directing the Caste Scrutiny Committee to take decision on the caste claim of the petitioner within six months from today.

The petitioner to appear before the Caste Scrutiny Committee on 20 February 2019. In those terms the Rule is made absolute and the petition is disposed of.

Interim relief given already will continue till decision of the Caste Scrutiny Committee.
