It appears that the Education Officer has taken a decision on the representation of the petitioner and has observed that the petitioner is at serial No.4 of the seniority list of the persons from disabled category. The order stands

complied.

Mr.Thombre, learned counsel submits that the person at serial No.1 is already promoted. Person at serial No.2 has refused promotion. Person at serial No.3 has died and petitioner is at serial No.4.

The Education Officer has stated in his communication that if the persons from the disabled category refused promotion or retired then the petitioner can be given promotion to the post of Extension Officer. The Education Officer has made this clear in the communication dated 18.1.2017, naturally, the Education Officer will have to act as per communication.

With these observations, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
