By this petition, the petitioners seek following direction:- "C) By writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, direction or order in the like nature, for consider seniority for the purpose of transfer in district level, as per the letter dated 09/08/2007 and Government Resolution dated 26/05/2010 at Exh-B & C."

Learned advocate for respondent-Zilla Parishad points out that due to passage of time, the present petition is rendered infructuous. After filing of the petition twice the petitioners have been transferred and therefore, cause of action does not survive. 3.

The petitioners are relying on Government Resolution dated 27.02.2017, which lays down revised guidelines for transfers of Zilla Parishad teachers. Admittedly, presently Government Resolution of 2024 is holding the field. In this view of the matter, according to us, the petition is rendered infructuous due to passage of time and subsequent
