After this matter was heard for quite sometime, we granted a pass over to the learned advocate for the petitioners to take instructions. 3.
The only issue involved in this petition is whether these petitioners would be eligible for benefts of the loan waiver scheme vide Government Resolution dated 27.12.2019. Their eligibility would be decided vide clause-2, 3, 4 and 5 of the said scheme. 4.
Post lunch, in the second session, the learned advocate for the petitioners submitted that these petitioners would make individual representations to the committee comprising of the District Collector, Ahmednagar, the District Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies, Ahmednagar and the Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies, 1/2
902-wp-5581-2020.odt Ahmednagar, before the end of the month. Documentary proof of loans repaid and eligibility under the said scheme would be tendered along with the representations. Request put-forth is that the said committee should decide their claims under the said scheme, within 15 days since the sowing season has already commenced and if this agricultural season is lost, the petitioners, who are poor and marginal farmers, are likely to sufer irreparable loss.

The learned AGP submits that if such representations with proper documents are tendered to the said committee on or before 31.08.2021, the committee would decide the eligibility of these petitioners and thereby grant sanction for such loan amounts, expeditiously. 6.
In view of the above, this petition is disposed of and the statements of the learned counsel are recorded as under: (a) The petitioners would tender their individual representations along with proper documentations, on or before 30.08.2021. (b) The committee comprising of the District Collector, Ahmednagar, the District Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies, Ahmednagar and the Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies, Ahmednagar (three members) would decide the representations/claims of these petitioners in accordance with the loan waiver scheme, on or before 20.09.2021.
