ORDER :

Both these petitions involve similar issues and they can be disposed of by this common order.

The petitioners are challenging the action of the respondent - University refusing to grant pensionary benefits, on the ground that the petitioners have not completed qualifying service of ten years. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on the order dated 28 March, 2022 passed by this Court, in Writ Petition No. 2803/2019 and 7146/2019, in order to submit that the issue is covered by the said order.

Learned counsel for the respondent - University in all fairness did not dispute that the issue involved in present petitions is similar to the issue which is decided by order dated 28 March, 2022, and has, therefore, submitted that this Court may pass order on similar lines, without recording detailed reasons.

In that view of the matter, the petitions are disposed of in the following terms :

(i) The Registrar of respondent - University, shall ensure that the pension papers of the petitioner, are prepared and forwarded to the office of the Accountant General on or before 31 July, 2022. (ii) The Competent Authority from the office of Accountant General shall process the pension papers and make ensure the arrears of pension as well as the payment of the regular monthly pension commences on or before 30 September, 2022.
