This Contempt Petition is filed for non-compliance of the order dated 19/8/2023, passed in Criminal Writ Petition No.889/2023, by which following directions were issued :- "

The petitioner claims to be a tribal woman.

She was a victim of a crime. She has been acquitted. Moreover, at her instance, a crime was also registered against someone else. The accused therein have also been acquitted. The petitioner

herein claims compensation on account of her arrest and prosecution besides 13 days delay caused in registration of the FIR lodged by her and prosecuting the concerned with right earnest. In our view, the petitioner may approach the District Magistrate. Her claim, if any, shall be decided on its merits.

With these observations, the criminal writ petition is disposed of.

Learned A.G.P. appearing for the answering respondent No.8 submits that, the order is complied with. She has tendered a copy of the affidavit-in-reply filed by respondent No.8. Exhibit R-2 annexed with the affidavit-in-reply is the copy of order dated 15/1/2025 passed by the concerned respondent. The same is taken on record.

In view of the affidavit-in-reply and the order dated 15/1/2025, we dispose of the Contempt Petition as the order is complied with.
