Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that he is holding a portion of the land gat no. 294. By two separate awards, portion admeasuring 5 Hectare 51 R has been acquired under the Land Acquisition Act, however, names of some of the persons still continue to appear in the revenue record. The petitioner had submitted an application dated 17-02-2022 to the respondent no. 4 but he is not taking any decision.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent no. 4 to decide petitioner's application dated 17-02-2022 as early as possible and in any event within eight (8) weeks from today, after giving an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner.
