ORDER :

Leave to add Director of Education as party-respondent. Learned AGP waives service of notice for added respondent. 2.

Mr. Rudrawar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has submitted the proposal for starting English Medium Secondary School on 04.08.2014. The said proposal was for academic year 2016-17 but the same is not yet decided. 3.

The learned advocate further submits that, on 29.08.2017, the Secretary, School Education & Sports Department, Government of

2 Sr40 WP4119.2017 Maharashtra, had asked the Director of Education to give his recommendation to the proposal of the petitioner. The said letter is issued on 29.08.2017.

In view of that, the Director of Education shall forward his recommendation, if he has not already forwarded, to respondent no. 1 and as sought by the Secretary, School Education & Sports Department, Maharashtra State under its letter dt. 29.08.2017, expeditiously, preferably by 15.02.2018. On receipt of the same, respondent no. 1 shall take decision upon the said proposal by end of May-2018.

Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
