The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since 2004 the validation proceeding in respect of the tribe claim of the petitioner is pending with the committee. This Court even allowed the writ petition filed by the niece of the petitioner. 2.

Considering the fact that, the validation proceeding is pending with the committee, the committee shall endeavour to decide the validation proceeding expeditiously and preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 30.07.2021.

Needless to state that, the committee may consider the judgment delivered by this Court in the case of niece of the petitioner on its own merits.

Writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
