The applicant was convicted for an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act vide S.T.C.C. No. 607/2012 confirmed in appeal by the Additional Sessions Judge, Latur vide order dated 20th February, 2016 as such this revision. 2.

The applicant and the original complainant-respondent are personally present in the Court.

The complainant through Adv. Venjane submits that the complainant and the applicant have decided to compound the matter under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and as such has tendered the compromise purshis to that effect. S.S.DESHPANDE 1 / 2

Having interacted with the complainant and the accused they were agreed to the terms of compounding as the complainant has already received the amount of Rs.1 lakh from the present applicant. 5.

In view thereof the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act for which the punishment is awarded to the applicant is hereby compounded. Conviction ordered by the orders dated 12.12.2013 and 20.02.2016 is hereby set aside accused is acquitted. Revision is disposed of in above terms. ( N.W. SAMBRE, J. ) S.S.DESHPANDE 2 / 2
