The challenge in this petition is to the proceedings initiated under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Said proceedings was initiated way back in 2017. The petitioners herein have appeared in the said proceedings and even filed reply.

This petition has been filed in the recent past, i.e. on 25.03.2022. In the given circumstances, this Court is not inclined even to issue notice in the matter. The Writ Petition is dismissed. 4.

Considering the age of the petitioners, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, may grant them exemption from their personal appearance.
