The petitioner is objecting to recommend name of Respondent No.4 as their representative by the primary society for the purposes of election to Parbhani District Co-operative Society Limited. The programme of election has reached advanced stage and only stages which are required to be completed are publication of final list of contesting candidates and casting of votes. The ongoing election process need not be stalled midway in exercise of extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
