PER COURT:- 1.

By this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks Writ of Mandamus against respondent no.1 to forthwith consider the proposal of the petitionerinstitute for additional intake of 20+40=60 students for RGNM course from the academic year 2021-22.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that, respondent no.2 has already made recommendation for increase in intake capacity of the petitioner-institute from 20 to 60 and based on that, the inspection is already taken by the State Government, however, the proposal is not yet decided.

We accordingly direct the State Government to consider the said proposal and pass the order by 03.00 pm on 31.03.2022 and shall communicate the order to the petitioner.

It is made clear that, this Court has not expressed any views on merits of the proposal submitted by the petitioner.

All contentions of both the parties are kept open.

Writ Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
