The applicant has been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 354-A and 323 of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for one year and simple imprisonment for three months, respectively and pay fine of Rs.5,000/- and Rs.1,000/-, respectively, in default of payment of fine amount, to suffer simple imprisonment for one month and fifteen days, respectively. It will take time for appeal to come up for hearing. It is a case of short term sentence.

In the fitness of things, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant be released on his executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) with surety bond in the like amount.
