The petitioner has putforth prayer clause 'B' as under:- B] By a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction in the like nature, the respondent No.2 may kindly be directed to release the total amount of Rs. 8,24,255/- and further interest thereon form 01-11-2021 onwards till the date of final payment forthwith to the petitioner towards interest on delayed payment of his gratuity, leave encashment and other amounts as per his representation dated 25-10-2021 at Exhibit 'N'.

We have perused the representation made by the petitioner to the Office of respondent No.2 dated 25-10-2021. It contains some contentious issues. The petitioner calculated his gratuity amount alongwith interest, with further interest on accrued interest, leave encashment, interest on leave encashment and bills of travel. All these disputed issues cannot be gone into by exercising our Writ jurisdiction.

In view of the above, we would expect respondent No.2 to respond to the representation dated 25-10-2021 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 15-09-2022. Copy of this order shall be served by the petitioner on respondent No.2.
