This is an application for quashing of the FIR registered vide C.R. No. 25/2020 at Azadnagar Police Station, Dhule under Sections 498-A, 406, 323, 504, 506 r/w 34 of IPC and the consequent charge-
-2sheet resulting in R.C.C. No. 316/2020 pending in the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhule.

The parties were referred to mediation. Mediation is successful and applicant no.1 and respondent no.2 are residing together. Therefore it is not necessary to reproduce the allegations in the FIR as it will unnecessarily cause bitterness between the parties. Therefore, we are avoiding to make reference to the allegations in the F.I.R. and the charge-sheet.

As we mentioned earlier, the mediation is successful and the Mediator's report dated 24.06.2022 is produced before us. The mediation report is accompanied by a compromise pursis. It is mentioned in para 3 that the parties have resolved their dispute under guidance of the elders and families of applicant no.1 and respondent no.2. They have decided to cohabit with each other and they have also decided to withdraw all the proceedings against each other. In para 5, the same averment was repeated and respondent no.2 has stated that no grievance or dispute against any of the family members of the applicant is now in existence. She has further stated that she is not desirous of
-3continuing the prosecution against the applicants in the present criminal application.

In this view of the matter, we proceed to pass the following order:
ORDER
I.
The application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses "B" and "B-1".
II.
The proceedings pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dhule vide R.C.C. No. 316 of 2020 arising out of C.R. No. 25 of 2020 registered at Azadnagar Police Station, Dhule are hereby quashed and set aside. III.
The application is disposed off.
