PER COURT :- The proposal tendered by the petitioner society for extending financial assistance, for establishing industrial unit, on 'cooperative' basis, has been recommended by the Special District Welfare Officer on 23.8.2011. The proposal is said to have been forwarded on 16.8.2011. It is further informed that, the said proposal has also been favourably recommended by the Director of Social Welfare, Maharashtra State Pune and is pending with the concerned Secretary - Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. The State Government is expected to deal with the matter and pass necessary directions.

This petition can be disposed of by issuing direction to respondent No.1 to take decision on the proposal tendered by the petitioner on 16.8.2011 and favourably recommended by the other authorities, as stated above, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today and it is accordingly directed.

The petition is disposed of.
