These are the Applications for condonation of 1550 days delay in preferring the Appeals by the Orig. Claimants being not satisfied with the compensation enhanced by the learned Reference Court. 2.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the Applicants that sufficient reasons are shown in the Applications which prevented the Applicants to file Appeals within the stipulated period. He submits that the Applications be allowed.

The learned AGP appearing for Respondent Nos.1 and 2 / State opposes the Application.

None for Respondent No.3 - Acquiring Body, though served.

When the Applications were listed on 24.04.2025, none appeared for Respondent No.3 - Acquiring Body and it was made clear that, if none appears for Respondent No.3 on the next date, the Applications will be decided in its absence.

For the reasons mentioned in paragraph nos. 2 and 3 of the Applications, the aforesaid delay is condoned. The Applications are allowed in terms of prayer clause '

B' thereof. The Applicants shall not be entitled for interest and statutory benefits for the aforesaid delayed period. Copy of this order be kept in the order sheet of the Appeal Memo.
