PER COURT :- Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner informs that he has raised challenge to the election process by tendering an Appeal to the Vice Chancellor, which is pending since about a month. As per the programme of elections to the Chair-Person of the Board of Studies the date prescribed for casting of votes is 17.4.2018. In the circumstances, we deem it proper to direct the Vice chancellor to take decision on the pending Appeal presented by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably before 16.4.2018. The petitioner shall cause appearance before the Vice Chancellor on 13.4.2018 and as such, the personal notice, requiring presence of the petitioner stands dispensed with.
