Mr.Brahme, learned counsel for the petitioners on instructions states that after filing of the present Writ Petitions, the petitioners are promoted as Child Development Project Officers and as such their grievance stands redressed. 2.

In view of the fact that the purpose of the Writ Petitioners is served, we are not considering other challenges raised by the petitioners i.e. challenge to the Maharashtra Development Service

(Conditions, Classification and Recruitment) Amended Rules, 1990. The same is kept open.

The Writ Petitions are accordingly disposed of. Rule discharged. No costs.
