2] The grievance raised in this petition is that though representations are filed to the Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Ahmednagar and the District Collector, Ahmednagar, no decision has been taken on the said representations.

3] In view of the above, we direct respondent nos.2 and 4 to take decision on the representation filed by the petitioner on 1st April, 2014 as

2 39-PIL 136-14.odt expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of ten weeks from today. Before such decision is taken, we direct respondent no.4 - Collector to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4] The petitioner shall approach respondent no.4 - Collector on 4th May, 2016. On that date, if it is possible for respondent no.4 to hear the petitioner, he may do so. If it is not convenient for respondent no.4 to hear the petitioner on that date, he may give a future date for hearing of the petitioner. However, the entire exercise shall be done including taking decision, within a period of eight weeks from today. After taking such decision, the same should be communicated to the petitioner.

5] The learned AGP assures this Court that this order will be communicated to the office of

6] The parties to act on authenticated copies of this order.

7] This Public Interest Litigation stands disposed in the above terms.
