The applicant prays for leave to be added as a respondent in Writ Petition No. 2828/2016, only for the reason that he and his wife were depositors with the concerned Co-operative Credit Society. Four petitioners have challenged the charge-sheet, pursuant to the enquiry report, issued under Section 88 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act.

Grievance is that, at the behest of four persons, the entire action kept in abeyance and further action is restrained. 2.

The learned Advocate Shri Shinde, for the respondentspetitioners, vehemently opposes the application and argues at length, praying for the dismissal of the petition. 3.

It is undisputed that the applicant claims to be a depositor and in such capacity, he desires to be added as a defendant. In my view, this cannot be permitted as there could be thousands of depositors and if each of them decides to approach this Court for participating in the Writ Petition herein, there would be no end to this. Instead, all such depositors could come together and impress upon the respondents/statutory authority to take appropriate steps in the Writ Petition.

In view of the above, this application is disposed off. 5.

List Writ Petition No. 2828/2016 for ''urgent admission hearing'' on 29/04/2019. The learned AGP is expected to be ready for the hearing in the matter.

The ad interim relief granted on 09/03/2016 would continue till the next date.
